After a long travel from the US we were excited to stay at the Rose Tor. I booked this hotel purely off of Expedia reviews as most were great. After arriving, we checked in with a friendly younger gentleman at reception. We had issues with our door lock as its older. He came up to help. We weren't aware that there wasn't air condition in this hotel as that was not listed, but we Looked past it as we had a window in our room. As we were trying to go to bed, we would have no idea the frustration and noise that would come from the bar across the street. Granted this hotel is old, but with the cleanliness standars and reviews, we felt extremely dooped. We also tried to eat or drink from the bar, but after sitting there for a good half-hour, nobody showed up. After a horrible 1st day-and-night experience I went directly up to reception at 8 AM the next morning to check out and ask for refund. This time it was a different gentleman at reception and he was not helpful at all he said Expedia is responsible for a refund and he can do nothing to help. We were not offered a room change or credit of any kind. Beware of reviews and do your researc
