6/10 Good

Nice pub accommodation but not ensuite.

The room was lovely and clean. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The downer (scoring comfort as 2*) was the shared bathroom. The description was misleading on this front and acknowledged by those who welcomed me on arrival.

Really friendly and welcoming. Even offered to keep the kitchen open for me. Clean and comfy room. Lovely view over the river. Plenty of parking. I had a great night’s sleep and there was a spacious kitchen with tea and coffee available. Plenty of parking!

Great place, if you like karaoke until 1.15 am

Lovely welcome on check in. Apartment spacious and comfortable. However bedroom was above area in the pub where karaoke started at approx 10.30pm ending at 1.15am. Not the best nights sleep. Nice bar area and food in the restaurant was good apart from the wait. Waitress and bar tender very apologetic about delays, and felt sorry for them. Somewhere we may have considered returning to prior to karaoke time!

Fine for the price. Great food at The Ivy pub in the next village.

Nice area, nice pub, need more staff..

We opted for a small apartment with aun suite, shared kitchen, no wifi, for an extra £40. Not bad but could do better. I defrosted the frozen up fridge freezer after someone left the door open on the freezer.

8/10 Very good

Really pleased on arrival as we were upgraded, as didn’t realise it wasn’t on suite until the day before. which is a priority for me. The apartment that we were given was. Could do with a bit more attention to detail with cleanliness , nothing major. We ate in the restaurant, food was good. Staff were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely stay again.

Very average, stayed overnight on business trip. DIdnt realise that most rooms not ensuite. Room a bit warm but large extractor fan outside so kept you awake if window open. Potential to be a decent place. Not recommended for couples.

I honestly couldn't have asked for anything else, beautiful friendly staff, lovely clean room, very comfortable. Being upstairs from an actual pub i expected a little noise, i slept like a baby. Also such a great view of the river from my room. Thanks to everyone who made me feel at home away from home X

10/10 Exceptional

A fantastic setting, by the river Avon over looking a weir, nice sound and wildlife to watch. Very warm welcome, spotless, crisp bed linen and very comfortable. Well finished and clean bathroom and kitchen with ample tea, coffee and milk in fridge. Excellent food with a choice to suit all tastes and largely locally sourced. Staff very helpful and pleasant, all in all great value for money and a good place to relax. Would definitely stay here again.

6/10 Good

The bed was comfortable and the food was great. Thw staff were great too. The only let down was very loud karaoke both nights I was there that went on until after 11 and made it impossible to sleep. Had I known about this before booking I likely would have booked elsewhere.

2/10 Poor

Avoid at all costs

When we checked in we were told there would be a birthday party downstairs saturday night. But on Friday we had karaoke , then the party. Was also not told it was a shared bathroom and kitchen. The party was so loud the walls snd floor was vibrating in the room. Couldn't get the wifi to work, would never stay again. They coukd of emsiked us and cancelled the reservation for free and we could have found somewhere more suitable.
Lorna, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Sadly i hadnt read the other reviews. Hot week. No aircon. Needed window open so had the joy of people in the garden then when it got dark has the wonders of listening to the pubs aircon which was just on the wall outside my rooms window. It did stop, but then started and this continued till 3:30am for around 20mins or so ever hour. Did not sleep as a result so for my second night i paid and checked in to another hotel! And dont miss the fact its a shared toilet and bathroom down the hall. It is in the description but just dont miss that detail!

8/10 Very good

Pleasant nature stay 👌

The room was basic but very comfortable, unfortunately other guests were inconsiderate with having the tv very loud as well as in the early morning departure and using their phone on load speaker in the shared bathroom. It was very pleasant and lovely to see the ducks, red robin and black bird on their usual trail in the beer garden. It would be great for guests to able to feed them with some dried meal worms or bird seed at a little cost which I would generously do. I didn’t actually know that they did breakfast that could be pre ordered until I read the sheet that was tucked into a draw so didn’t get to try that one. The evening meal was nice and we’re going to order the following evening but seemed to have closed early l believe. Overall this was a very pleasant place to stay and very good value for money. Thank you 🙏

We did not stay. We walked straight out. Clientele in bar beneath room a little rough and room had no bathroom!

Met needs for one night stay. Friendly staff. Clean room. Modern room. Very comfortable bed and nice linens. Thanks to other guest feedback I knew to bring earplugs for Saturday night Karaoke, but nice to hear people enjoying themselves and having fun.
