The room was clean and quiet and affordable during a time when the town was very busy. The staff were accommodating and friendly

There was no one there when we arrived. we had to go to the Rodeway Inn across the street to find another room. we arrived at 7 p.m. thank you to the staff of the rodeway inn who understood our very ordinary situation

cancelled my reservation without telling me, did not find accomodation alternative, I had travelled from out of country and was left in the cold. Expedia was equally unreachable during this time.

I never had a chance to stay at this property. There was no one on hand to check me in, the parking lot was unplowed, and the office was dark and looked to have been abandoned for months. I don't they are actually open for business, yet they took my money and would not provide a refund.

New owner trying to make this place look bad

This hotel was purchased by the motel across street. The office of this hotel is a construction zone. No sign on door, no staff around. You have to go across the street to check in, but no sign, no text nor email to let you know this. No microwave, the coffee maker and TV did not work. Snow was not adequately removed. Not good safe parking. If all you need is a bed, this is a better option than sleeping in your car.

Fine, if you just want a clean room.

The room was clean and the price was good. However, the exterior made it feel like it was not open. You had to check in at the hotel across the street, Rodeway, to get your key. Across the street was also where breakfast was at and the indoor pool and hot tub. The outdoor pool at the Carriage was closed. It was fine if you just want a clean room and don’t plan on hanging out at the hotel at all.

The young man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful in getting us in the room a little earlier than 3. Checkout was easy also. The room was not dirty, but the building was. There was a strong odor in our room so we paid for two nights but left after one. It is a shame that we lost money on the booking.

You deserve better

This motel is almost abandoned. You have to yse the facilities of the Rodeway Inn on the other side of the street. The room was not unclean, but old and smelly. The AC was not functioning properly and I had initially all not hot water. I called front desk and 2 very nice man came to repair something.

This hotel was supposed to have a pool and complementary breakfast. When I arrived. They told me the pool had been broken down for three or four months and that there was no complimentary breakfast. I traveled with my two children for a hockey tournament. Everything in the area has already been booked, so there were no other choices for pools. The fact that they didn’t tell me when I booked it is ridiculous. When I arrived in my room, they definitely didn’t vacuum, and it looked like someone spilled hot chocolate all over the countertop.. I had to clean the room myself before we slept in it. My girlfriend woke up with some serious pink eye, probably from those nasty sheets.

As soon as we drove up to the property, it looked like it was abandoned. no cars and no people. Outdoor pool covered up. Office building looked shuttered with note to sign-in across the street at the Rodeway inn. They must own it now. Thank God the room was clean when we arrived, and everything worked although some of the chairs were torn. We gave up on room service for cleaning. We picked up clean towels every time we went across to the Rodeway for the very minimal free breakfast. Most of the chairs in that room were very badly stained. We managed since we were adults and were out most of the time. I would stay away as a family with children. Outdoor pool closed. indoor pool across at Rodeway very tiny and uninviting. No playground Anyway, it looked like they gave up on this inn. It did look a little better across at the Rodeway Inn. Personally, I will not come back to either one. Pay a little more for closer to Mirror Lake or go a little out to Wilmington. Two places we checked out were the Mountain Brook Lodge and the The Hungry Trout (Had lunch) They both looked nice and family friendly

Didn’t actually stay here after booking it

This is possibly one of the worst hotels I have ever seen. It looked abandoned (probably should be) or at least neglected for many years from outside. Pictures online look ok for a budget stay but in reality the pool was closed and place was falling apart. Ended up staying at hotel across the street

Mohit, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff were particularly great with every interaction. The rooms were clean, just worn down and outdated. It's low budget stuff, but still a great value for the money. The mattresses were hard and the pillows pretty thin, but it was a good, safe roof over our heads for the night, especially on a busy weekend where a lot of places really jacked their prices up. Exactly what we needed.

We were moved at check in from Carriage house to Rhodeway in. Very run down, outside door to parking lot didn't lock, limited parking, dingy room, peeling wall paper, broken heat, ratty blankets, threadbare towels.

This hotel is a scam. I spent my entire day while traveling trying to contact them to arrange to check in outside of the 2 hour window they like. The phone does not connect. This is in the middle of the Adirondack mountains. Cell service is unpredictable at best. I was sitting in an unplowed snowy driveway at 830 on a Friday evening, with my child, unable to reach anyone. Expedia couldn't reach anyone. I leaned on my horn for 5 minutes. Nothing. The "office" is an empty room with a single bulb light. No info on contacting anyone. Their info on the site says 24/7 service available. Clearly false. 5 degrees, no one available, snowy parking lot. If the empty room didn't have the light, would think it was abandoned. Amazingly, they CAN be contacted to refuse a refund. Sleep in your car. It will be more dependable. I wish this would allow me to upload the picture of the "office."

The check-in process was terrible. I knocked on the office door several times and nobody answered. I tried to call many times and nobody answered the phone. After about 10 minutes, I saw another customer and asked her about the check in process. She sent me an across the street to other motel and it turns out I was supposed to check in there. There was no information about this check-in process at all. If it hadn’t been for the other Customer, I would’ve had to sleep in my car.
