Very clean, bedding and towels absolutely white and fluffy and changing every day if you want , very helpful staff and all polite and speak English well its right in center walkable anywhere . Its on quiet street so no traffic noise, air-conditioning, heated floor in the bathroom. Great roof bar in summer would be great to spend time there. We've had stayed in this hotel 3 times now and happy to come back. Only if you like your tea its no kettle in the room , but nice restaurant downstairs and outside loads cafes great prices and delicious food and cakes

Definitely recommended over the hilton in wroclaw. Staff are much more attentive here and the pool is better as well. Have been staying here every time we come over to visit the mrs family for the last five odd years now, consistently good. My only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast option as it is currently very lackluster.

The suite we have stayed in was extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. The quality of the furniture and everything else in this hotel was superb. Have been visiting Wroclaw a few times a year since 2020, tried the Hilton, but level of service is just awful there. Monopol is a great place, one of the few hotels in wroclaw that have a pool and spacious rooms. Only thing I’d say they need to improve is the pricing on their breakfast offering and the range. Hilton beats Monopol in that regard.

The listing says that the hotel has "parking available". The reality is that it only has 3 spaces and won't reserve any for you even if you have a blue badge. However, there are a couple of disabled spaces nearby and a public car park over the road,

Wonderful stay and perfect location.

We booked this place last minute when our first hotel didn’t have working AC. It was excellent! We especially loved the breakfasts, the pool downstairs, and the jacuzzi tub. Our 5-year-old was treated to a kids’ size robe and slippers and all of her own kids toiletries, which she was very excited about. The front desk was very helpful with any questions we had. The only complaint I have is that our room was noisy. We would hear motorcycles zoom by in the middle of the night, so request a quiet room. We use white noise to sleep, so it didn’t affect our sleep.

Great location, good amenities, needs refreshing

Monopol Hotel is well located in central Wroclaw. The SPA is nice although it has a limited number of beds. Room was comfortable and spacious. We had an unpleasant situation though. My wife left a golden necklace next to her bad in the SPA area and it was stolen. It hard to blame the hotel stuff, although they could have done better in addressing the issue.

Family vacations...

It's hard to believe that this is a 5 star hotel! Non-working air conditioning in the restaurant on the 6th floor, with an extremely expensive menu. A serious defect in the jacuzzi - some substance was released causing discomfort to the upper respiratory tract (the service delayed taking care of it; we do not know to this day whether it was not a real threat). Buffet breakfast quite poor; no chance to supplement missing assortments - savings? In the room, in turn, quite worn-out equipment, no espresso machine and no kettle to make coffee / tea, the walls have not seen paint for a long time! 5 stars - really? - maybe 10 years ago! Fortunately, there are other hotels in Wroclaw... Ps. A big plus for the location - very close to the Old Market.

Guest service at it's worst unfortunatelly

First, I didn't receive an upgrade to a higher room standard, even though I have it guaranteed due to my Gold status on Hotels.com. The hotel was not fully booked and there was a possibility of such an upgrade, but the employee who checked me in due to a system error could not do it. I may have been granted an upgrade earlier, as has happened many times in other hotels. I was placed in a room that has leaky windows and both at night and in the morning there is no possibility to rest and relax in the room, because you can hear people's voices and every passing car or tram. The curtains in the room I got also did not work - they are glued to the curtain rod and cannot be moved, which makes it impossible to darken the room so as not to wake up at sunrise. I also asked yesterday at check-in about the possibility of booking a massage at the spa for the next day. The ladies replied that they couldn't book anything, but the occupancy is not large, so they will easily find a spot for me. I contacted the spa the next day and received information that I cannot use any 60 or 90 minute massage because all dates are booked. As a result, my stay at Monopol hotel is one of the worst I have ever had in Wrocław. I expected a 5-star service, and I received a standard worse than in the guesthouse in the countryside. After pointing out my remarks to the General Manager he called me and promised me he will get backto me with a personal offer on Monday morning which unfortunatelly, never happened.
