We booked for 2 nights. This was a good location to visit Milford Sound but have a room within easy driving time. Our room had the most amazing view overlooking a lake and mountains. 15 minutes to Te Anau where there were plenty of eating choices.

Inside the unit beds bedding etc was all new and excellent. The buildiing itself is quite old and is being done up so bathroom was well used but everything worked satisactorily and the bedroom was excellent as was the view from the rooms.

It was very nice to be able to sit outside under cover with a drink and enjoy the amazing view. Linen was nice and very clean, plenty of soaps, shampoos, coffee, tea etc, bed was comfortable and warm. However attention to detail cleaning the rooms was lacking, dirty skirting boards, a table obviously not moved and vacuumed under for many months, broken light in the bedroom.

Clean beds. Good views, like a step back in time, before the vinyl tiles in the bathroom started breaking up, toilet needed a scrub, hadnt been white for some time. Cheapest place i could find for a one night stay, in at 11.30pm out 5 30am so the bed was the best bit.... oh and the usb charging jack by the bed

Would not recommend this place unless you are absolutely desperate. We booked a superior studio with a queen a twin bed. We were given a much smaller room with one full bed. There is NO internet, no microwave as it is advertised in the description of the property.

Just basic accommodation. We arrived around 6:30pm and nothing in the town was open for food so we had to drive to Te Anau. The water went off (it was a whole town outage) but with no water in the fridge it made for an uncomfortable night. It was back on in the morning for a well needed shower.
