Delightful hotel and restaurant!

The Prairie Rose is a charming place to stay! The staff is friendly and attentive. We were impressed with the attention to small details from the upscale rustic decore to the amenities like complimentary water bottles. It was clear that much thought and care went into selecting each piece of furniture, each coat hook, and even seasonal decorations on the window sill. If I ever pass through here again, I would definitely return.

This is seriously my new favorite place to stay when I drive between Denver and Tulsa. Their rooms are pretty big, styled, kept up with Care, and good quality. Rooms 11, 13, 14 and 16 are all dog friendly and they have a rather large dog park just across the parking lot from the front of the Inn. In the middle of the Inn they have a restaurant and bar. I was able to get a yummy croissant sandwich and caramel latte before I headed back on the road. 💗

Such a cute and cozy place! The room was clean and beautifully decorated — clearly a lot of care went into the design of both the room and the inn itself. Everything felt warm, inviting, and well-maintained. Having the option to grab breakfast and dinner on-site was a huge plus and made the stay even more convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and comfortable place to unwind.

The Prairie Rose is a beautifully done hotel! Not only did it accommodate our big family with a large room, but every room is done up with pieces from the surrounding areas history/items. It also has a bar area with awesome staff and good food and the best drinks!!! In the morning you can walk down the hall and grab some breakfast and a coffee or cappuccino, all wonderful! The Prairie Rose has several 3 bed rooms. I wish I would have asked for a tour of some of the other rooms. There is also a washer and dryer with all laundry supplies provided at no charge! Probably our best hotel experience ever! If you are ever near Wakeeny, Ks it definitely worth the stay!

I found an empty 12 pack box of bud light a In my room by the curtains. Also, there were food crumbs in the room like it wasn’t even vacuumed. I told the night staff and they were apologetic but nothing was done about the room. So didn’t feel clean in there.

This place is awesome! The room was huge and so comfortable. There is a bar and grill within the hotel and the service and food were very good. The inn has a limited amount of rooms so it’s small and personable. It’s convenient to I-70 and easy to find. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

This is not how businesses are supposed to operate

I checked into this hotel with 5 family members. When we entered the room my son noticed a large 3 inch gap in the bathroom door. It’s a hanging barn style door for the bathroom. This gives a direct view of however is on the toilet to everyone in the common area. I contacted the host with no resolution. I contacted hotels.com with no resolution. I wound up booking a different hotel right down the road and left. After asking for a refund from Prarie Inn and Hotels.com I was told no. I will never use this hotel or hotels.com again

We stayed here on the way home from a family vacation in Colorado. Had 2 rooms. Kids, grandkids, and seniors all found rooms and beds comfy and food delicious. Staff in restaurant was friendly and accommodating. The key free entry and no lobby check-in....went straight to room with personal key code texted to us... made this a very relaxing and pleasant experience. We have added this location to our "favorite places" to stay list.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. What a pleasant surprise. If you are driving through Kansas and need a stop for the night, this is your place. The set up of the motel is perfect! The restaurant and patio is very nice. Good food, nice cocktails and great prices. Very nice staff. We have stayed in dozens of road motels and this one beats them all!

What an awesome stay! The room was spacious and cleverly decorated ... the bed was comfy ... the shower was large ... and the location was convenient. The rooms were clean and fresh ... check-in was an (automated) breeze ... and the staff was friendly and efficient.
