I did not like 1 thing about this run-down, roach infested, smelly motel! Every room was nasty and everything in the rooms were old and yellowed and smelled horrible! Do not stay here! Expedia u need to work on getting the correct pictures of properties u post on your website! I went, saw and left immediately!

FRUSTRATION

I would like to tell you about my stay. However, I did not stay there. I was never notified that they could not accommodate me until I arrived. So I booked on my own at another hotel in a nearby city. I need a refund and an ID number, but nobody has been able to give me that information yet. All I have is a confirmation number which does not match the ID number that they say they need. It’s very upsetting to pay for something I did not use and it was 0% my responsibility. Please somebody help me. I do not want to have to resort to begin using an alternative vacation booking site.

I have stayed at this OYO property before. It’s not fancy, but for one night for the reason I was in town - the price was right. Unfortunately this time, due to the weather, there were some pipes that burst which affected the sprinkler systems, etc. So my booking was cancelled. I get it, unforeseen circumstances happen. What I have a huge issue with is that I was not notified! I did not receive an email or a phone call at any point the entire day. So after a long drive, I arrive in the evening with my family, and THEN I am informed that the booking was cancelled. That lack of communication is completely unacceptable. Oh, and it looks like I’ve only been refunded for one of the booked rooms. So I have to sort that out, too.

Skip this one!

This motel was not even close to the pictures they show online. The room was full of broken furniture. The bed linens were dirty and smelled like body odor. I can safely say this was the first motel I've ever stayed at that made me want to sleep in my clothes. There was no privacy lock on the inside of the door. It looked like someone had put screws into the door frame to try to barricade the door at of point. This was a last minute booking for an out of town funeral. The only thing this motel had going for it was that it was available. Next time we will drive into mineral wells.

CROOKS! I was traveling at night through Jacksboro TX and decided to book a room. I stopped at a gas station and opened the Expedia app. I found this was the only hotel available and was 1 mile from my location. There were many rooms available and I booked one. I went to the property, rang the doorbell and one person opened the door. I told him that I had the booking, he replied "no room, sold out". I explained that I just booked through expedia and he kept saying "no room". Then I asked him to cancel the booking, he called his partner (they spoke a foreign language among themselves) and checked the computer. Then he said "computer bad". I kept asking for the cancellation, he kept repeating "computer bad". Then I contacted Expedia in the chat and asked the agent to do the cancellation. I was so tired so I booked another hotel 30' away and started driving, could not stay with the agent. Next day I went to the chat again with Expedia, after a while the agent told me they don't want to refund me because I didn't show up. So I had to call OYO to get the refund. I called them, the agent kept me on hold while she called the property, they told her that I didn't show up and they tried to contact me to know if I was going to take the room. Such liars! I got upset with the agent and finally she told me my last option was calling the property myself, those people that barely speak english and already said I didn't show up. Lesson learned, stay at the property until the cancellation.

I've never seen a hotel room as dirty as this one. The housekeeper was still "cleaning" the room when i arrived. She had the door open, so when i walked in, there was a huge swarm of flies everywhere. Whatever she used to mop the tiled bathroom floor either didnt get rinsed, or she used grease to mop it because it was like walking on slimy ice.

Clerk was friendly and terrific. Property was pretty run down. White towels were dirty or just badly stained. Sheets seemed clean but I did not use the comforter. Floor felt matted and a bit sticky. For the price it wasn’t terrible

I booked using Expedia, had booked a month in advance. We arrive at the hotel and I’m told by the owner of the hotel that his cleaning lady had been hospitalized for over week, so he didn’t have any clean rooms. I was turned away, stayed at another hotel down the road. I wake up the next morning to a charge from the OYÓ for the room I didn’t stay in. I went straight to the owner that was in the lobby and let him know that I was charged for the room. He went as far as showing me on his laptop that he didn’t have any booking from Expedia for me, so he didn’t charge me. Expedia is the only app that had my info. So I reach out to Expedia, but now they say that they can’t reach anyone at the OYÓ hotel to confirm my stay. I’ve been back and forth with Expedia and OYÓ and neither is trying to issue a refund. I’m told by OYÓ to wait 24-48hrs to see why they can’t reach their own guy in Jacksboro. I just want my refund before I take legal matters.

No one would like to stay at this place a complete pig stye, I wouldn’t even allow my pets to stay there. Terrible, unsafe, hazardous, un healthy. Will be reporting to the health officials, no hotel standards at all. They should lose their license. Place not even fit for rats!! Brown running water, filthy appliances, filthy furniture, torn and shredded mattress with no appropriate linens. Old outdated heating/cooling unit, if you want to call it that, could see through the wall to the outside. Front door all full of bird poop…totally disgusting place.

The 1st night, we went thru 5 rooms with the manager, could not find a bed with clean sheets or a room that was clean. It was almost midnight and we just got clean sheet for a semi clean room. The manager was very sorry. The 2nd day the manager had gotten a room with new sheets. It was simi clean. It was Christmas and no where else to go. We stayed our stay.

This place was absolutely horrible they had no hot water and when we complained the staff told us he would go turn on the water heater! He had shut off the hot water! And when we pulled back the sheets there were ants all over the bed!!! I have picture proof! Staff argued with us and tried to brush it off that it was ok to just brush them off the bed!! And refused to refund us our money!
