Friendly staff and modern facilities

Such a lovely stay for us when seeing events in Hyde Park. Around a 15 minute cycle from Hyde Park. Clean and modern rooms with really friendly staff. The gym, sauna and pool facilities were a great added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Hôtel conveniently situated just a short distance from underground and west London. Staff (Natalie, William and Adam) were excellent and resolved one or two issues efficiently, just teething problems really as hotel only recently opened. Look forward to my next visit!

Absolutely love this place. Very new, great amenities, peaceful, hip and healthy vibes, very close to Westbourne Park tube station, walking distance to Notting Hill. Loved the kitchen in the suite great for keeping fresh foods in my diet while travelling. Evening cinema, sauna and steam after a long day out! I will definitely be back.

Very good option in London, new and well appointed. Comfy bed, was out and about most of the time so only used the room. Wish I had more time to try out the other facilities like the pool. Gym and bikes. About 5 mins from nearest tube station.

Great new find in London

Really nice hotel in a great location, its a couple of tube stops from Paddington, an easy walk from Portobello market but with good local amenities. Its set back from the main road so its very quiet for London. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, the basement pool is excellent, really good length for lane swimming, and the gym looked good. The 10th floor terraces offer brilliant views London. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely use Mason and Fifth again.

Amazing stay! 10/10

We had a great experience! Got upgraded, festive weekly events at the lobby, great coffee and pastries to start the day. And the pool and spa was top notch specially after a long day! Gym was also fantastic with all the equipment needed for different types of workouts. Staff were friendly and hard working since the place just open. The location it’s okay but only a 20 min tube to central London, with a 5 min walk to the closest station. The rest/pub next to the hotel was great next to the canal!

Great new hotel

Decided to book this hotel as it had a very good rate and looked lovely in the photos. I’m pleased that I did as the hotel is great - it’s clean, comfortable and only been open for 11 days. There were a few teething problems, but it all should run smoothly in due course. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is close to the Westbourne Park underground station.

The staffs were very kind, and the hotel itself was new. It was also nice that it was near the train station, and it was really clean. However during our stay, we could hear the people watching TV and coughing next door(even when they were showering), so we had to whisper so that we wouldn’t disturb the people next door. I feel like if the room divider(aka the wall) was better/thicker it could have made the stay better, and we could have been more relaxed, and kept our privacy.

Overall a lovely property, but the only tap in my room (bathroom) only ran hot water. Let the property know on two occasions but this wasn't fixed within the 3 days I was staying, which was pretty poor.

Great place to visit and very hipster vibe. However, the structure of the place was quite weird and we did not see the point of having to beep your card in every single door to go through the buildings. Felt just complicated and annoying for the guests. Also felt that there was a lot of stuff going on during the stay in terms of people fixing things (which is fine as it just opened). But a bit more structure and getting rid of all of the annoying doors would have increased our overall experience. The spa was nice, however, and the hotel rooms were really fresh and nice. Would like to try the other mason & fifth next time.

I enjoyed staying at Mason & Fifth when I was in London for business meetings. It is a new property so the room was in excellent condition. It was spotlessly clean when I arrived. The studio that I stayed in had a small kitchen with a small fridge, microwave and stove top along with plates, cutlery, mugs and glasses. Everything I needed to make breakfast each morning. The bed was comfortable although a double so really only big enough for one person which was fine for me on this occasion. Will definitely stay that this property again!

New hotel with paper thin walls

The hotel and the amenities are great, and the service was very friendly but unfortunately the construction was done poorly and the interior walls were not done properly, hence there is no soundproof barrier. The same experience as sleeping in a hostel dorm room - you were able to hear literally everything. Hopefully they are able to fix the walls!

Nice hotel with many amenities

Enjoyed my 4-night stay here in a classic studio. The room was very spacious for London standards and pretty much had everything I needed. Bathroom has decent toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and a heated towel rack with button control. I've never encountered one that actually works so that was a really nice surprise. The bed is a comfy double, so it's perfect for one person but might be a bit tight for two. The room also has a wardrobe, a small table with seating for two, and a kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge, microwave, electric cooktop, kettle, and a 2-slice toaster. There are a couple of pans as well as cooking utensils, cooking oil, knives, and some dishes. Dish soap and paper towels are also provided. The hotel also has a lot of communal amenities like a gym, cinema room, 10th floor terrace, laundry room, etc. I only made use of the laundry room which has Miele appliances as well as space to iron and/or fold your clothes. There's a bar and lounge area in the lobby and a new restaurant on the lower ground floor. The area overall is nice and quiet. The building is secure with room key required for accessing all areas and the large door gates are closed and locked at night. Staff were kind and helpful. My one minor complaint is that the tabletop and the floor where the table stands were a bit dirty. Other than that, everything was great. I would stay here again and recommend it for those who want a more homey space while in town.

New hotel, some teething problems - Great Staff

Rooms are nice, well appointed. But there are a couple of problems. The air conditioning is set to a plan, so it automatically turns off after some time. It was a crazy hot weekend so we needed it. I ended up having to get up at regular intervals in the night to turn it back on. On the last night, however, it broke completely. The staff informed us that they are in the process of trying to get the plan changed. There are no TV channels available, just a cast system for your phone/laptop/tablet. We could not get it to work (for reference I work in tech, and it defeated me). They also had an issue with the number of towels, so there weren't any for the pool and we were asked to bring the ones from our room. We have been promised a 20% refund by the hotel for the above things The hotel concept is nice, the amenities are great, pool and gym are fantastic. There's a very nice lounge on the top floor which has great views, although the communal kitchen there could use more attention from staff as guests weren't cleaning up after themselves, the sink was full of dirty pans etc. It's a very convenient location, close to the tube station. The staff are all really helpful and friendly and did all they could to make our stay great. Overall - Once the teething issues have been ironed out, this would easily be a regular place to stay for me, particularly if the prices remain the same.
