8/10 Very good

Very good and little advice - would be nice if provide the baggages storage service before and after the stays. High recommended. X

6/10 Good

Looks nothing like the picture, and the listed days there is a bathtub which I would take to mean there is a bathroom only to find it was shared, very annoying as that is not at all clear. It is a basic room with no cups to go with the kettle. I wouldn’t book again, it was clean so if you are ok with a shared shower room and toilet you should be ok but it is just a bed and look absolutely nothing like the pictures they use on the site.

Cheap but weired :)

Inexpensive. However its all a bit weired. Find a random house on an estate. Work out how the door lock works and find your room. Bed about 5 ft in the air. Telly, but not connected to anything. Have to share a bathroom. Which means you have to get dressed in the night to go to the loo. A dozen emails and forms you have to fill in and a deposit. Just get a hotel.

The stay was okay

The stay was correct. Its self check in, you will not meet someone, but you can call them until late afternoon and they will be very helpful to get you checked in. However if you arrive late at Night they Will be no assistance, that might be inconvenient. Everything is really clean, you have all equipments for the kitchen and bathroom. However in the room there is a tv impossible to unplung and which makes little noises all the time. The room is okay and satisfying for a short stay.
Louise, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

This property is advertised as a hotel. In reality it is a town house where you are renting an individual room with a flimsy digital door lock. Bathroom is shared and after booking they demand a deposit along with having extensive travelers insurance to be able to access the room. Did not feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room as there is no front desk person nor a safe in the rooms. If you are looking for a quick stay in a good location this may be ideal, would not recommend for a longer stay. Also strict no refund policy, beware.

Not a quiet stay

I was left feeling a bit disappointed with the stay. The decor and cleanliness of the apartment was to a good standard, but there is absolutely no escape from the noise within in the building which meant I had 2 poor nights sleep.

2/10 Poor

This is not a hotel. I arrived after dark and had to hunt around for anything that looks vaguely like a hotel - which it does not. I had to go down what looks like a back alley and try to put a code into a handle by the light of my phone. It was dreadful. The bathrooms are shared. The bed was soft. I never want to stay in anywhere like that again. For £160 for the night it would have been a rip-off at half the price.

Good central location and clean/modern rooms, However it is very hard to find the property as it’s actually a houseshare and the check in procedure isn’t explained when you book the room. Huge deposit taken as well (also not made clear upon booking) that I’m still trying to recover.

6/10 Good

The price for london is good, location was good and nothing specific went wrong. but the room was incredibly small with no place to hang clothes. The mirror was not mounted on the wall and the tv did not function. The toilet is shared by two rooms which was not a horrible problem except the obvious inconvenience. There is a downstairs kitchen facility if needed (coffee machine did not function). While convenient for those hopong to eat in, it also means someone can cook a very aromatic meal and make the entire building smell poorly. In sum, not appropriate for except for short stays on a very low budget.

Modern, cozy & clean

The place was clean and the host / maintenance guy who we called to let us in was v polite. I was annoyed that we had to resister my ID and card details to him via an online link felt very dodgy since I already pre-paid. The location wasn’t that easy to find, had to call the customer service to help me get there. I booked a double room for two people and was given a clean room on the top floor with a shared bathroom. The bed however had only two pillows and was set up for one person it seemed. The bed size was a 3/4 bed, between a single and a double. the room was v tight but for £70 on a bank holiday weekend in London I was happy. Would’ve appreciated more pillows. The sheets were clean, toilet was immaculate for a shared bathroom and the room had a modern design and feel.

SHARED BATHROOM - NOT A HOTEL

Be warned, not quite as advertised. It is not a hotel, it's a sharehouse Airbnb. It would be a fair price for a room in a houseshare Airbnb though. It's a shared bathroom - Most places will clearly tell you it is shared bathroom (ie. honesty & integrity). You are forced to send a copy of an ID and pay £300 deposit or they won't let you inside or even tell you the exact location (they won't tell you about this until after you've booked and paid). Nobody on site to help. Front door jams, needed to be let in by another guest, then had to shoulder the door to force it open the rest of the visit. Hard to find, a little terrace place hidden down a small court. To be fair, clean and tidy enough for a houseshare, just deceitful. Certainly not hotel standards, but it wasn't a dump. Checked in at 7pm, then oddly, we received a call from a mobile at 11:35pm to check we got to the hotel okay???...lucky we were not asleep, but perhaps call guests before 9pm? Oh, if you need to turn off the flashing multi-colour LED lights keeping you awake....pull out the sofa then climb over it to get into the cupboard blocked into the corner. You'll finally find the switch tucked away in the bottom corner....otherwise you'll need a eyemask to sleep. To be honest, it would be fine for a houseshare Airbnb, if they were just honest about it being one, the shared bathroom, & £300 deposit. For your own expectation management just know it isn't a hotel or similar. Fair price, good location.

2/10 Poor

The bed had a hard wooden bar in the middle of the bed!! impossible to sleep on. No staff, only self check in with codes on the doorhandle that didn't work. We had to call the helpnumber several times to get it fixed. Total disaster for a place to stay at. Do not book it. I wouldn't stay there for free.

Acceptable, but probably won't book again

Pros: location, had the basics requirements needed, bed was quite comfy, fairly inexpensive Cons: not clear from listing that it's a shared accomodation, which I would not have picked as a solo female traveller. Bedroom doors lock but still not ideal setup. Lacking basics that a true hotel would have like toiletries though I brought my own. There was a kettle and tea and sugar, but no cup or coffee or milk in room (?) Cleanliness wasn't the best, but it was acceptable. Shower sprayed water everywhere - be prepared to mop up the floor with a towel! Would have been very small space for the 4 people expected to fit in the room! Fine for 1-2 people. Was a bit taken aback at having to send my ID and £300 deposit in advance (maybe not ideal if you don't want that money unavailable to you?) but it was promptly released from card by the day after stay. Comms werent great - they initially asked me to pay for the room after I'd already paid hotels.com, and later on asked for my ID after I'd already submitted. Also didn't get check in instructions until 2pm on day of arrival - check in isn't until 4pm but if you like to have all your info in advance it's not ideal. First day in new job and I didn't even know if I was going to be able to check in! Overall I will probably book something else for my work trips going forward as I'd rather pay more and have less cons, but might consider booking this again if I really wanted the location.

Decent Experience

Decent location, nice clean rooms and kitchen, however was not told beforehand that it was a shared bathroom and struggled to get a reply over message. Was told multiple times that I would be sent a check in code and had to call them 3 times to finally get it. Very nice inside but just beware that it does feel like you're staying in someone's house.
Joe, 1-night trip

Fake hotel with hidden costs.

This is not a hotel. You are renting a room in an indecent town home. There is no front desk, and upon arrival you are unable to enter the building without filling out a long form and paying an additional 300 pound deposit that was not disclosed. I'm hoping I am able to get it back.
Carter, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Strange and unclean

This is a small council house converted into separate rooms. Our room was sold as a triple, but was a double with a broken sofa bed which when folded out blocked all movement in the room, stopping the use of the (tiny) wardrobe and the storage unit. There were two dirty mugs, a used teaspoon and empty tea bag wrappers in our room, but no one to contact about this as it isn’t a hotel. There is a kitchen where I could get clean mugs/spoons, but there was no milk/milk sachets anywhere. The only thing going for this place is the location.
Julie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great location

The room was exactly as described & pictured. Easy no-key system works well, especially for a late night in the city. Had to call to ask for check-in details and to find out when my deposit is coming back which is not ideal, more communication from staff would have been better. That said, I would definitely stay again!

The worst experience ever

It was probably the worst experience I have ever had - showed up to check in an hour after we should have as room wasn't ready , to then find at 5pm still not cleaned we had to stand outside the property as no where we could sit and were left out there till after 7pm at night I had my 2 children with me and had a full panic attack!! It was terrible, I thought we were stranded in London on a Saturday night!! We felt mislead as we thought it was a hotel it's a house!! With other people in it !!!! We spoke to another stressed couple thought the same as us, they left and found other accommodation. Place felt so unsafe (back door was unlocked and opened ) and uncomfortable we had no choice but to stay and no other options available I spoke to someone from hotels.com then put us back onto property manager who gave us 10% back on one night - I was in such a state I just accepted and was frightened didn't know what to do??? My son woke up the next day with a red and swollen eye my face was swollen too had to take antihistamine! Never ever ever booking again, absolute nightmare!
