Bridget, the motel manager, was lovely—she called ahead to check our arrival time and made sure everything was perfect with the room. The place has been nicely renovated. We drove, so we’re not sure about nearby facilities, but Wanaka is absolutely beautiful.

This motel is easy to find on the way in to town, and walking distance to the main attractions in Wanaka (but also clearly *outside* the main area). The heaters in the room were stunningly good; wet ski equipment was very quickly. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, and sufficiently large for all my equipment. I'd be happy to stay again.

Greeted by a bubbly, friendly host who shared her excellent knowledge of things to do. After a quick chat we had the afternoon, next day and food sorted. Good size room with 2 separate areas - bedroom/living area and kitchen and bathroom. For us, pillows too flat, prefer fresh milk and separate hair conditioner. Overall a very good stay.
