This was my second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms are clean, the staff are lovely, the view of mount hutt is great and the food is brilliant. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable lodge. Staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant is excellent, and the lounge is a great place to unwind at the end of the day with a game of pocket billiards and a drink from the bar, or just sit and relax by the wood burning stove in a comfy leather chair or couch.

Wow, So impressed with this lodge. Friendly check inn, staff were exceptional, really bringing their A game to customer service. Rooms new, clean, tidy and presented well. Daily Breakfast was excellent. Would i stay again 💯 Would i recommend this hotel to others 💯 Definately the place to stay when visiting Methven.

Excellence at its best

The whole experience was at a 5* level. From the checking in, through to customer service, through to accommodation, through to it's evening meal menu, through to it's selection of superb breakfast home made choices through to check out. I cannot say enough in praise. It was truly a remarkable stay. Next time will stay for more than 1 night.

The staff is amazing from our communication with Pete and arranging our stay and the service we received in the restaurant and the reception desk. So warm and friendly. The room size was large giving us room for our ski bags etc. Please with everything. The only negative was hearing some noise between rooms. But easily o relooked with all the positives.
