Save your money and stay elsewhere. We had booked for 5 nights. When we arrived, the lift didn’t work. Hauling luggage up 2 flights of stairs with a bad ankle was not a lot of fun. The unit was supposed to have a washer and dryer. Nope. The windows looked out onto other buildings, a few feet away. Neighbours had a full view into the bathroom. No privacy. We stayed 10 minutes and booked a far better hotel elsewhere in Brussels. As we waited for the Uber downstairs, another couple were exiting. They said the lift had been broken for days. There is no direct contact with the hotel. I corresponded with a bot through the app. We cancelled the reservation but of course it was non refundable so we were out $2000 CAD. I emailed the director of sales for Sweett Bodeghem and have not received a response. I spoke with Expedia and they are unwilling to pursue reimbursement, even though the hotel misrepresented itself. Thoroughly disappointing. Also, I wouldn’t suggest walking in this area after dark.
