The room, bed and property are fine.
The problem is when I arrived, at 5 pm, I found that the owner had already charged my credit card. I meant that credit card to only be used to secure the booking, and I wanted the charges to be on another card, so that option was taken from me. However, the owner said it is a regular policy to charge all the bookings, and if a card is declined, then he cancels the booking--so beware.
Also, my original booking was for 2 nights. Plans changed, and I called, 2 days before, to say that I only needed 1 night. Well, he says that "all the hotels had upped their prices, 2 days before", and therefore he was charging me $50 more than my original booking charge for the night we stayed, and he was happy to get more money out of me. I find this highly irritating and unsatisfactory. I won't be going back to that hotel.
