Affordable and tradional hotel by Sognefjorden

Well worth the price, spectacular surroundings offering fjord views and a sense of being a member of the traditional hotels. You can kayak, take a sauna, a dip if you are hardy enough. The breakfast was lovely, as was the dinner. And King Harald Fairhair was born in the neighborhood!

The room view and large deck were amazing. Position & view over fjord perfect. But it was hot and room had no air conditioner. Small fan useless. Hotel & rooms quite dated. Limited room for bags. Restaurant dinner menu very limited. Very surprised no facilities for EV charging. Very poor value for money (expensive).

The service was wonderful. Cozy and lovely facility. They had kayak rentals which was the highlight of my trip! Also the staff (Trine) and her father went out of their way to help us when my son experienced a medical emergency. All the necessary calls were made to schedule a dr visit and we were even driven to and from the medical facility. We will never forget their kindness.

Ett hotell som sett sina bästa dagar och är i ett stort behov av renovering. Men det är r er nt och snyggt och en imponerade personal som väger upp. Rummen är äldrr, men med nya sängar och nya badrum. Lägg till att du kan gå rakt ut på bryggan och hoppa i fjorden som morgondopp. Väl värt en bokning, till rätt pris

Das Hotel erscheint auf den Fotos sehr hübsch. Unser Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Die Einrichtung hat die besten Tage hinter sich, aber es ist noch ok. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und ausreichend Auswahl. Das Ambiente der öffentlichen Räume ist schon besonders schön. Alt aber sehr gut erhalten und Besonders. Der Garten vor dem Haus Richtung Gewässer ist sehr schön... die Aussicht ist es auch, wenn man wie wir ein Zimmer mit diesem Ausblick hat. Negativ ist mir die Holzfassade des Gebäudes aufgefallen. Hier sollte sehr bald eine Instandhaltung statt finden, bevor das Holz ungeschützt weiteren Schaden nimmt.

Hotel mit Geschichte in schöner Lage am Fjord

Das etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Hotel liegt wunderschön am Fjord. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und grundsätzlich gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem. Der Gesamteindruck ist ein bisschen zwiespältig, man merkt dass das Hotel eine Geschichte hat, allerdings wäre eine Renovierung geboten.
