a Really Good week

I especially liked the evening meals they were very tasty, also the 10% discount on hotel food proved useful. Breakfast was good as well where it was a help yourself style and the staff were friendly.

Alrhough not in centre of St Helier the bus stop outside the hotel was perfect for getting into the centre. Hotel very good value, staff very pleasant.

Family break

No issues with the hotel. It was clean, staff were friendly. The bar food we had was excellent and it was in a great location. If I had to point at anything it would be that the jacuzzi wasn't brilliant. Overall the stay was excellent a d I would use the hotel again
Helen, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

The room photo is not the room you get, only 3 rooms have this balcony. The view from the hotel is of the public toilets and municipal pumping station.

Hotel was ok for the price ,pool area was very poor and changing rooms big let down security lockers not working and all rusty, breakfast was good for thebprice we paid good service ,hotel bar lacks alchol free drinks so only soft drink option for us who dont drink ,

Average

It was an average hotel, this was the last of 5 hotels of a bigger trip and it was very very basic. The water for the bath and and shower were luke warm at best, the pool changing rooms were tiny and overcrowded with people actually getting changed in the corridor outside the changing room. The jacuzzi was open but was not working. Poorly catered for vegans. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the hotel is a 15 minute walk to town and opposite the beautiful beach.
Nathalie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room we were in had been renovated just a bit if a squeeze bur was wekk equiped. The breakfast was good quality and fir the first time I found an hoiel toaster that actually did the job in 1 go. The evening meal was also great value and copious amounts Had a problem with noise from the room underneath but sorted by night porter after my unsuccessful request at 2am! This was dealt with on checkout as well. Altogether a good value hotel

Weekend break

Our flight was delayed but it wasn't a problem as there was still someone in reception to greet us. A very chilled and friendly hotel. I stayed with my 2 adult daughters and we thoroughly enjoyed our mini break. Super Mojito in the bar too

Reception staff are the main asset

We stayed 11 days in this well appointed hotel. Excellent location for short walks- cross the road for the sea- public transport links and 10 minute walk to the facilities of St Helier. This feels like the family run hotel that it is- staff are always helpful and think laterally to resolve questions and issues.
Charles, 11-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very helpful and friendly staff. When we arrived, they had give us an upstairs room, my father who is 91 and partially sighted had trouble with the stairs, so I asked if we could be moved and straight away we were moved to a ground floor room at no extra cost. All staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant had a great menu, very tasty and good price. The hotel is a little dated, but overall would probably stay there again.
Sharon, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel was in an excellent location with an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants and pubs nearby. The staff was very friendly. It is a nice older facility with all then quirks of narrow hallways and stairs found in older places. Our room was pretty noisy with construction noise starting pretty early and our windows were nest to the outdoor stairway and back door to the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a great stay
Daniel, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It is a bit of a walk to town, but the bus system is good and the stops very close. Breakfast is good and the rooms are adequate, although the safe is tiny and the places to work on a laptop are limited to 1 person. It can be a bit noisy with traffic, plumbing and people walking one floor above.
Robin, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Hotel was cancelled the night before our arrival

The hotel cancelled our rooms due to works needing doing sent us to another hotel much further out of town Which cost much more as we could no longer walk into town. we had to get taxis in and out to get to town.
Mr Simon, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Food was excellent. Extensive evening menu at reasonable prices. Breakfast good choice and the best cooked mushrooms I’ve ever had on a breakfast. Sadly, the room was far too hot & there wasn’t any fans available when we asked, so we had very little sleep. Fans need to be available at least. It’s a shame as the hotel otherwise is great and perfect location for when I visit family.
Kathie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This hotel.is situated opposite a lovely beach with nice restaurants nearby and a 20.min walk to the centre of St Helier. There is a bus stop very close too. The hotel itself is nice enough, a bit rough around the edges and needs updating a bit, same with the pool. Staff are lovely, food great. We stayed in the family room which is above the bar area so quite noisy til late but the kids slept through the noise. I'm a light sleeper so I was kept awake unfortunately. No fridge in the room either which would have been nice as it was super hot when we stayed.
Miss, 4-night trip

4/10 Fair

Ive never stayed in a hotel with rice crispy floors. It was so disturbing i had to change rooms at the price of giving up my bathtub! I was not best pleased. The staff was great especially Daniel. Such a lovely young man you will go far just keep on keeping on!
Delvina, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

When we first arrived the room was not like any of the photos online. The safe didn’t work, water pressure was terrible and the door didn’t lock either. The twin room, the beds were either side of the room not next to each other like on the photos. The room was right next to the busy road and we did not get any sleep on the first night. Once moved rooms we had a family room with bunk beds but the toilet leaked and the safe still didn’t work.
Danielle, 4-night trip
