Very clean room, small as expected (we took the 15sqm room) but sufficient for our needs. It was a great surprise to come out of the train station from the airport and realize it’s less than 5 mins walk to the hotel! The location is very central, lots of Izakayas and restaurants near by, but because it’s so close to the metro you can get literally anywhere in Tokyo. Overall we had lovely stay and would recommend. I did take down one star, as there is an upper train that goes near by and from our room we could hear it till late at night, which I did not know in advance (and I’m not sure you can hear it from every room) - so just be aware and bring ear plugs if needed. But it definitely didn’t affect our trip that much.

The best hotel on my trip to Japan

This hotel checks all of the boxes. I absolutely loved my stay here. I will be back next time I'm in Tokyo. For those looking for reliable, comfort in the Ginza area it does the job fantastically. They pay attention to ALL of the details that make for a great stay. Comfy beds, decent pillows, powerful shower heads, sizeable desk area, free coffee, and a long list that goes on and on. Easy, casual and well executed lodging. I particularly loved the scented fabric spray in the closet area. I didn't have time for laundry and the 90 degree humidity was making some of my clothes unfresh. nice touch!!! Thank you Tokyu Stay for making the end of my trip so delightful.

Great convenient location. Nice room and great to have a washer/dryer unit in the room. Front desk was very helpful. Was able to easily ship my luggage there as well as ship them out to the airport without any issues. Close to many trains, the Miyazaki clock, Tamiya and a short walk to Ginza as well.

Overall this is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, bed is good and the hotel reception area is nice. They have a laundry machine in the room which is a huge plus. It works great and google translate helps if you run into questions or problems. There was a microwave, clothing press, hot water pot and deep sink in the room as well. It is very close to Shimbashi train station which has many main lines running through it. Easy to get around just about anywhere in Tokyo from here. Another plus is there are lots of restaurants and kobinis within a few minutes walking distance. With that being said, here are some of the things that could have been better. The room felt cramped with luggage. I realize it’s a trade off for having the ability to do laundry. It’s definitely manageable but has its moments. The staff is friendly and very helpful. But when we asked for a second key to our son’s room, they said no and sited security reasons. This seemed a little strange to me. Problem is you need a key to access the floor and we were on separate floors. It was a little inconvenient to have to go downstairs to exchange things or meet. A second key could have resolved this easily. The other thing was the hallways were not air conditioned. Your walk to and from the elevator was like being in a sauna sometimes. This is a great hotel to stay near the heart of Toyko. Ginza and Shibuya are just a short train ride away.

Hotel is maybe a 5-10 mins walk from Shimbashi Station. I arrived few hours earlier than the check-in time. Grateful for the hotel staff to help me do pre-check in, getting my check-in details first. I left my bags at the hotel before making my way around the city. Came back in the evening to complete my check-in and voila, the receptionist passed me my room card and bags were already in the room. Kudos for this. As for the room itself, when it comes to hotel rooms in Tokyo itself, big space is hard to come by. I had one medium luggage and 1 big backpack. Space will feel tight once you open your luggage. Other than that, the room was clean and decent. Very eco-friendly, they only change towels upon guest’s requests. Housekeeping only for guests rooms staying 7 nights or more. For me, it was for 4 days so I only had my towel change daily.
