The hotel is located in the Istiqlal road all shops are around and the Taksim square just few miles around! All the hotel team members are friendly and helpful...specially the front desk manager "Bursa"!!! Recommended for business and tourism!

The reception guys were AMAZING!!! In all my years in Travel, the check-in procedures and quality of your reception staff were EXCEPTIONAL and some of the best I've ever experienced, truly!!! Please don't offer your guests the Le Vapeur Bosphorus Dinner Cruise, they are not a good option in terms of operations and service, but we thank you for the compensation afterwards <3

Very old hotel , worse than hostel , dirty , old stuff , disgusting towels, and I did not feel comfortable to walk on the floor without shoes.

Poor internet connectivity, if any. WiFi did not work. Had to harass the staff until they gave me a mobile WiFi connector. AC was absolutely terrible, took 3 hours if not longer to cool the room. The AC was disabled by the hotel to only run on a very low fan and no other control except temp set point. Again I had to harass the staff for an extra card to keep the power (Air Conditioning) running while I was out because I’m not waiting 3-4 hours for the room to cool. They made up stories like that’s how the internet is in Turkey. Or that the AC. No it is this hotel! I have stayed at cheaper hotels in Istanbul that were much nicer than this facility. I appreciate their accommodations after I was forced to be a jerk due to such ridiculous “4 Star hotel” guest accommodations. It was loud one night too, it’s a hoping neighborhood. I didn’t mind. Would not stay here again,

We stayed at Taxim Lounge Hotel in Istanbul from January 4th to 9th, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. One of the biggest issues was the unbearable stench coming from the toilet and bathroom. Despite raising our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to resolve the issue. Every night, we covered the shower drain, sink hole, with wet towel and tightly closed the bathroom door, but the strong odor persisted, filling the entire room. It made our stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. To make matters worse, there was no internet for three days due to road or building construction outside. While we understand external factors can cause disruptions, it was incredibly inconvenient, and no alternative solutions were offered by the hotel. The room itself was outdated and in dire need of maintenance. The doorknob was loose and falling apart, and the wooden door and bed were chipping. Overall, the room’s condition did not meet basic expectations, making the stay even more frustrating. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and approachable. However, their kindness could not make up for the issues we encountered during our stay. We would not recommend Taxim Lounge Hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and overall upkeep.

Eine gute und preiswerte Unterkunft in der Nähe zu Taksim. Das Economy Zimmer ist perfekt für Alleinreisende, man hat alles, was man braucht. Das Bett ist bequem, ein paar Sachen im Bad waren teilweise kaputt, das stört mich aber nicht. Das Frühstück ist auch gut, man hat eine sehr gute Auswahl von verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten. Es ist laut in der Umgebung, aber das ist ja klar, wenn man in der Nähe von der Hauptstraße Istiklal wohnt. Es ist super, dass man preiswerte Hotels in der Umgebung finden kann. Auch großes Danke an die Rezeption, die mir einen Regenschirm für den ganzen Tag ausgeliehen hat.
