Great location and rooms were clean. But our rooms were filled with secondhand smoke from all the guests smoking outside the room. Air conditioner, toilet and wifi all didn’t function properly. Very loud guests and no quiet time policy after hours. Nobody at the front desk to talk to.

It was a a good stay! Convenien right next to the beach which is where we wanted. The folks working there were helpful, pleasant and accomodating. We were updated fo a family room which was nice. I'd stay there again!!

There’s no electricity in our bedroom. We can’t turn on both aircon in the living room at the same time because everything will be out of power. Can’t use the tv coz there’s no internet. It was a terrible experience.

The owner was a wonderful lady, very kind and friendly. The building is old but is clean and I do believe they are slowly improving the property. The location is fantastic and you can literally walk across the street and walk into the lake. I’d come again because of the staff and location.

Firstly , when i tried booking the room the price came up around $170 , I can’t recall how did it shoot to $245. Now lets talk about place it was a gone show. It smelled mildew and like smoke. One bed was broken . If possible would like my refund. I would have loved to stay on roadside . Pathetic overall

The room looked presentable at first glance. The front door had gaps in it so the smoke from the people below came into the room.

I checked in for all of one hour. The room was like a 10x10 jail cell. It smelt horrid. Stale smoke and with someone who has asthma there was no way I could have stayed there. The was patches all over the walls and the bathroom toilet had garbage in it, the shower curtain was stained with mildew. The bathroom sink was next to the kitchenette sink?? It was just my daughter and I and neither one of use felt safe there. I have asked for a refund from the property who chooses to ignore me and Expedia who claims to help but of course they never do. Just a terrible experience. I do not recommends

Do not stay here. If you are a traveler passing through, spend the extra dollars and go literally anywhere else. From time of check in to a frenzied 1am checkout I was stalked by several of the tenants. This is not the place for you. Please be warned. The telephone also had graffiti on it stating "EAT ME." That should tell you enough.

Rooms are not as advertise... Didnt have our room ready on time. When we did get a room, it was extremly dated. The carpet was green, with and 80s style yellow couch taking up most of the space and it wasnt clean. I booked a room with 2 queen beds received a small room with 1 twin bed. Contacted Expedia when our room was not ready on time. Expedia was no help at all. Will not be booking with Expedia again. The hotel failed to meet their end of the agreement and Expedia refused to cancel the booking.

We had an enjoyable stay .owners are hard working at keep this place decent .its very clean and you have sylvan lake ,right across the street .There is also a good size lawn with a very large firepit .(owners were generous and offered us free wood).I have stayed at this motel several times over the years since the 80's.This is an older motel but well kept and the owners work hard at maintaining it.lovely stay as usual, enjoyed drinks around the firepit, views of the lake and very clean comfortable beds for under $150.

Suite was not stocked properly. No dish soap, tea towels. It was a suite for 4 people no utensils, no toaster. They stock the room properly with set of dishes, utensils and pots and pans it is suppose to be a kitchenette. BBQ was filthy and had no brush to clean it with. They dont clean your room daily we had to empty our own garbage and no extra bags so had to go ask for them. Location is perfect. Lawn area is nice.

The property has an excellent location. Staff are lovely but possibly understaffed. The rooms are clean. The in room amenities were not completely stocked (limited cutlery, mismatched dishes, no dish towels or dish soap). We still love coming to this spot. New owners are working hard. I believe they will continue to upgrade this property. We will continue to book here.
