It was a bit further down the beach than we normally stay so had to drive everywhere but didn’t mind. Staff was lovely and very accommodating when we made a late room request. Rooms were clean but need better window coverage and darkening shades for slider and window above ac unit. Shower temp was fickle so had to be careful but it was manageable. Would definitely stay again.

The Grand View Hotel is right across from Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. The staff is very friendly. The beds were comfortable & the room was clean. The air conditioner was quite noisy but other than that it was a great place to stay!

This is the 2nd year we've stayed here and it is immaculate. It's very nicely decorated and looks as though it was just remodeled. We can cross the street to the beach and parking is right outside the door.

The Grandview has an awesome view of long sands beach. You can see both the boon island lighthouse and the nubble lighthouse from the balcony. Watching and listening to the waves roll is so relaxing. The Grandview is just finishing up a renovation. We were very happy with our stay.

The Grand View Hotel was easy to access and super clean. The property is aging, but well maintained. We were surprised to have 2 long flights of stairs to get to our third floor room, but were fine with the extra exercise as it meant we had gorgeous views from the balcony. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely go back!

Extremely clean! Lovely room, comfortable bed,but almost no hot water at certain times of the day. Building is very old, so no elevator and a very narrow staircase to get up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was very nice, clean and updated.Beds were very uncomfortable. They slanted a lot toward the headboard. The shower was not great. Hardly any hot water. Had to have the hot water cranked all the way on to have a warm shower. Beautiful view but wouldn't stay here again.

Walking distance to the beach, view from the deck was phenomenal, and the accommodations were great. My only criticism was the lack of a sink/ microwave in our room (may have them in other rooms that weren’t available when we booked, so that may be on us), lack of privacy sceens between the balconies, and some of the paint on the ceiling of the deck was peeling. Normally I don’t care about that but it looked older and we have young kids, so it was slightly concerning. Overall, would definitely stay here again. We loved it.
