The hotel is clean, the breakfast buffet is very good. A bit of a walk to the train station. Rooms are small but comfortable. Close to a major shopping centre and to the pedestrian street with lots of restaurants.

There isn't any slipper in this hotel. You should come with your slippers. And park pass is 22 euro per day. On the other hand everything is good.

Det var rätt rörigt vid frukosten. Det saknades ordentligt urval av bröd och pålägg (personalen fyllde inte på). I övrigt standard hotellfrukost. Rummet okej om än lite trångt. På fönstersidan av sängen mycket trångt! Man har ett litet bord att sitta vid istället för bagageställ/hylla. Inte ett bra val om man har mer än ett handbagage. Garaget som ligger i huset fräscht och ljust.

Service schlecht

Der Check-in hat über 40 Minuten gedauert – und das mit einem zwei Monate alten Baby und zudem Zeitdruck aufgrund von einer Verabredung. Unsere Buchung über Hotels.com konnte nicht gefunden werden, obwohl diese korrekt vorlag. Obwohl der Fehler nicht bei uns lag, erfolgte weder eine Entschuldigung noch der Versuch, schnell und unkompliziert eine Lösung zu finden. Eine Entschuldigung kam erst verspätet beim Check-out. Auch beim Frühstück gab es erneut Verzögerungen, da zunächst der Nachweis der Buchung verlangt wurde und wir ein PDF zusenden mussten. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, jedoch ohne Platz für einen Kinderwagen. Insgesamt hätte der Aufenthalt angenehm sein können, wurde jedoch durch den unprofessionellen und wenig kundenorientierten Service erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Gutes Stop-Over Hotel

Die Lage ist Nahe zur Innenstadt, die sich dadurch mit einem kleinen Spaziergang erreichen lässt. Mit den Koffern sind es von und zu den umliegenden Haltestellen dann doch ein paar Meter. Der Check-In dauerte mir mit 10 Minuten etwas zu lange. Adresse selbst ausfüllen ist auch nicht ganz up-to-date. Zimmer zu dritt sehr eng; für eine Nacht okay. Sehr schönes Badezimmer. Artikel im Shop beim Empfang etwa 40% teurer als an einer Tankstelle.

Gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ( U Bahn, Bus und Straßenbahn ). Zu Fuß ( 20 min ) zum Kölner Dom , 5 min mit der U Bahn zum Belgischen und Friesischenviertel ! Gute Parkmöglichkeiten durch Tiefgarage ( aber teuer mit 22 € am Tag)

Unser Zimmer war im 10.Stock, daher gute Aussicht. Hotel ist gut mit Straßenbahn erreichbar und Schokoladenmuseum und Rhein fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Frühstück war ausreichend. Personal im ganzen Haus sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Kommen gern wieder.
