Nice stay

Good size room, nice people, comfortable beds, newer shower/tub, reasonable price, and dog friendly with a big grassy area for them to run around in the back. I would definitely stay here again when passing through.

Surprising oasis in a small town

Never mind the outside appearance in this tiny off-the-beaten-path town. It's what inside that counts: Clean, comfy bed; well-supplied; good TV channels; defrosted mini-fridge (!); clean microwave. Quiet relaxing oasis, despite being near the freeway; safe well-lit parking, efficient manager. Property is as described. Good for a re-stay.

Loud air conditioner

This is an old hotel. I like being able to park in front of the room and drag my things in. The room was a little worn. It was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. The biggest problem I had was the air conditioning. I realize it was very hot and the air conditioner was working overtime. It was extremely loud. When it turned off, there was a horrible clunking noise. It woke me up several times during the night. Other than that, it was great.

Excellent choice for traveling on a budget. Very convenient to the highway. Traveling alone and appreciated the parking right by the room. Very safe and well lit at night. Furniture may be a bit dated but clean. Tub was clean enough to take a bath, if I were a person to take baths. Area behind the toilet and light switches might have been a bit cleaner. Linens were very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Roach Motel

Check in was difficult had to ask around to get some help as no one was at the counter. Went into the room and the smell is very interesting to say the least. Rooms are rather beat up and ran down looking. Linens were WELL used. What ever you do, don't leave your things in your room the house keeping is well versed in METH ingestion. Spend the extra 30$ and stay some where else or bring your pistol!!

There is a station across the street from the hotel that the truck drivers are stopping at throughout the night. I realize the hotel can't help that. I was cold so I turned the heat on, but each time the fan would turn on, it would first blow cold air. The bed was older, so you could feel where it dips. The room was clean & smelled good.

The Pros: Easily booked on Expedia.com. Several Fast Food places well within walking distance and large grassy area that was great for walking our dogs. The Cons: Checking in with Expedia.com reservations. The front desk woman kept telling me that the King bed, non-smoking rooms were not available. She wanted to put us into a smoking room at the same price. When asked why a reservation made on April 2nd for May 20th was not honored she tried telling me I did not mention having two dogs ... all while I have my Expedia.com itinerary on my mobile showing the booking date of April 2nd with 2 Adults and 2 Dogs for a King, non-smoking. She finally gave up trying to convince me she had zero king beds left and gave me the key to a king bed, non-smoking room. A Truck Stop right across the street with a never-ending flow of semis. No decent dine-in restaurants nearby. The motel property was older and shows it has been maintained on a severe budget or maintenance that prides themselves on short cuts. Housekeeping and most guests looked dirty and strung out and would pounce on us nearly everytime we stepped out of our room. Did I mention the baby cockroaches? We tried checking into one of the other two motels but it was a graduation weekend and there were zero vacancies. We will never again visit that motel. I wish them luck.
