Great spot, quiet, clean and safe!!

Really good spot, lots of food choices and 2 supermarkets right down the street, Dollar Tree, fuel stations, etc. Felt like safe part of town - Room was clean, quiet and easy parking. Thankfully the room smelled great, no smokers there which was AWESOME - will totally stay again!!

Clean place to stay

We went to the steam expo. It was a nice clean place to stay. The odor in the room was a bit strong but we opened up the bathroom window and door and it made it all better. I would recommend this hotel as it was clean.

Good for those who enjoy peace and quiet.

Though the palace was quiet peaceful and affordable there were no shops or restaurants and you will have to drive some 31 miles of winding road which is about 53 some exhausting minutes to get to some decent restaurants and shops.

Everything we needed to stay for a night was there. Comfy bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Area looked safe. I walked my dog in the dark. Fast food stops and gas stations are near.

Hotel was well maintained for older property. Room was comfortable and clean and appeared to be recently painted. Small updates like new comforters would go a long way for modernizing. Owner family was very pleasant. While there was no breakfast or on-site laundry, there is a laundromat across the street and a block from McDonalds
