By far the worst and most hostile hotel experience I’ve ever had in Romania – or anywhere else.
When I arrived, I politely asked for a double room and the price. They showed me a room with a queen bed, exactly what I needed. I then asked if they could match the cheaper online price — they refused, which was fine, so I booked online anyway.
Only a few minutes later, the manager came to me in a shockingly aggressive and unfriendly manner and told me I would now get a completely different room — a tiny one with a single, miserable-looking bed. She openly said that because I booked online for the lower rate, she would punish me by giving me that bad room, even though plenty of proper double rooms were clearly available.
The situation got worse:
• The room was freezing cold, with the heating completely off despite 6°C outside.
• The bathroom was dirty, clearly not cleaned properly.
• And when I tried to ask politely for help, I was verbally insulted and treated in a humiliating way.
This behavior is absolutely unacceptable for any business that calls itself a hotel. It was hostile, unprofessional, and intentionally disrespectful. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. It’s not just poor service — it’s openly malicious treatment of guests.
