I chose the My Place Hotel based on their rates and close proximity to the airport. They are outside the busy downtown area. They do not have a restaurant, however, there is a grocery store, A&P across the street with a deli.

Best place in Ketchikan

I've stayed in three different hotels in Ketchikan and this is by far the best. Very clean and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. They are finishing up redoing all the rooms. Our room was perfect except for a small flaw on the wall from a previous guest.

I had to stay the night so I could get to Annette island on Monday. The only thing they could improve on is having a free breakfast. The room was great. Clean, dry, and warm. And the staff was /is more than accommodating. The let me check in early as my flight got in around 11 am. Good value for my money

After experiencing Super 8 for one night ANYTHING would be an improvement! But My Place just took lowered expectations and sets the bar high! Great service, excellent amenities and will definitely stay again! One small thing they dont loan or rent cookware and your forced to purchase pots, pans.

Check in was a non friendly staff member seemed irritated that she was working. However the staff later was very friendly when I asked about Taxis & Bus routes to take downtown. The room smell is musty but it was clean so maybe to have air fresheners in the room would help. There is a store right next to the place so it’s nice for food options. Okay place to stay if you need walking distance from the airport.
