It is a good lodging to spend a night. Everything essential is there: shampoo, conditioner, lotion,hair dryer, microwave, refregerator, you name it. The place is easy to find. Check-in is smooth. Friendly staff.

Best all around stay in LP so Far

Always a great place to stay when in LP. Close to stores, trails, etc. Seat in a chair around the firepit and feel the stress melt away because of the view.

Definitely to stay again. I was worry because an incident happened in my room, wasn’t my fault, but some places charge for, but here; the lady understood that wasn’t our fault. Definitely I recommend this place

Winter Weekend

We were in the area to enjoy the end of 'winter' - XC skiing etc. The proximity to town and local attractions was great. We were looking for economy and it ended up being a good option. The unit we stayed in was a classic Adirondack Motel/Motor-inn and was in good condition. The staff were friendly and provided housecleaning services each day. The unit we stayed in(1) adjoins the neighboring unit and was not soundproof. If it is privacy you seek, they may have some stand alone units available.

Nice touches everywhere, but the mattress was like a marshmallow and made it hard to sleep. It really needs replacing. Also rug was dirty. We are staying at a great motel that has faux wood tile and it is clean and nice. You have done many things well, but the things I mentioned. Thanks.

Such a relaxing place. Not exactly in town where all the busy traffic and shops are which is good if looking for a peaceful place to be. But its in close distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is good. We will come back again.

We had an excellent stay at Cobble Mountain Lodge. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it's just a short drive (2-3 miles) to the center of Lake Placid. Highly recommended!
