The only thing I didn't like was the drive to get to the property. Loved pretty much everything about our stay.

Great stay - small intimate hotel with home cooking. Brilliant!

Our room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our evening meal was delicious. We could even see deer in the field just across the narrow road from the hotel. There was a good choice for breakfast, which was very nice.

We were there for a 2 night stay at the end of August. The hotel is very well taken care of & it is in a quiet lovely location. It’s beautiful inside too. Rooms are cozy, clean , quiet, & decorated very nicely. The food & service in dining room is amazing! The free breakfast is plentiful, delicious, & fresh. It is a nice touch.

1 night stay

A lovely stay as this homely hotel. Room was cosy and uniquely decorated. Service was good and food was lovely. A slower pace for our over night stay with a friendly warm welcome from the owner. Lovely bar and entrance area and other guests were very friendly. Road in and out (20plus miles) was very narrow

Richard was a very friendly host and the meals were excellent. A firmer mattress on the bed would have been nice. A little expensive, but understandable considering the difficulties in operating in such a remote location. We would stay in The Drumbeg Hotel again.

Beautiful view point within walking distance. Difficult drive down 8 miles single track road with plenty of passing places.
Alan, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

A smiling welcome and service would have been appreciated from the lady owner.

Great place to stop on North Coast 500

Remote location on the West Coast 500 but well worth it when we got there. So peaceful. Very friendly. Great home cooking. Owners take pride in the level of accommodation and make sure it is covid-19 safe! Most comfortable bed I have slept in this trip.
Jonathan, 2-night trip

Delicious dinner options

Room was small. Looked out on an unkempt garden. But the couple who own the place work very hard to keep the hotel open. Off the beaten track, but very nice location for traveling the NC500.

This was the perfect overnight stopping point for us. We needed somewhere along the Drumbeg road where we could stay the night compfrtably, which served a nice dinner and breakfast. All of this was easily accomplished at the Drumbeg Hotel. We arrived shortly after 4pm. We pre-ordered our dinner from the lovely menu, then had a cup of tea. Before dinner a drink in the bar then through for some great dinner dishes and pudding. Excelent full breakfast in the morning then on with our journey. Simple, comfortable, clean and friendly.
