"Beautiful property, very clean, great rooms, staff was very friendly. The only drawback was that it was very far from downtown Ottawa and expensive to get back & forth. It would be nice if there were some kind of shuttle from the hotel."

"The Chateau Laurier; one of Fairmont's true gems is located right on Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa, steps away from the Byward Market and the shops on the Sparks Street Mall. The staff is superior; they treated me like royalty, and could not have done more to make my stay fantastic. This is the only Ottawa hotel I will ever consider staying in. The hotel is so beautiful, with so much history. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Ottawa."

"Great place to stay. Close to everything. Great restaurants close by and right down town. The only one thing is on one of the corners is a homeless shelter and homeless people. During the day however is very safe"
"This was my third stay at Les Suites in the modern 2 bedroom family suite. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms have always been clean and in overall great condition. The location is good and parking in the garage isn't difficult. My only complaint is that the elevators are slow and crowded at check in time, and the wait time is a little frustrating. I understand that this is probably out of their control, though, so I would still recommend this place and give 5 stars."
