"Spectacular in many ways, but not without a few disappointments.
The Museum Hotel is undeniably beautiful ā the views over Cappadocia are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The service overall was fantastic, and I really appreciated the thoughtful gestures throughout my stay ā from the complimentary bottle of wine and desserts to the chocolates left in my room. My room was also upgraded on arrival, and I even got to choose the one I wanted, which was such a lovely touch.
The Michelin-starred restaurant was mind-blowing ā genuinely one of the best dining experiences Iāve had. Every course was exceptional, and the staff were wonderful. The spa was also incredible, and the hotelās overall charm and sense of history make it truly unique.
However, there were a few things that left me disappointed. My cave room, while authentic, felt quite eerie and dusty, which made it harder to relax. The activities offered through the hotel are extremely overpriced ā about triple what youād pay elsewhere for a private tour, and the āfull-dayā option ended up lasting only three hours. The takeaway breakfast was also surprisingly poor ā just a few pieces of bread in a box and bad coffee, which really didnāt align with the hotelās otherwise high standards.
