"We were made to feel welcome at check-in and given help with directions to sightseeing in the Senja region as well as a great place to eat in nearby Finnsnes. A spacious room in fairly simple accommodation was suitable for our one night stay and the continental breakfast was good. Block-out curtains would have been nice."

"This property has been beautifully renovated and provides every modern amenity (except AC, which is pretty much non-existent in Scandinavian countries). It is EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The laundry area was also really useful for us.
I was expecting the location to be more "touristy" based on the pics, but it's actually located in the back of a commercial/industrial area, and about 45 min drive to the more popular/touristy areas of Senja. "

"This is not a luxury accommodation. But for the amount of money is great value. Rooms are clean and neat. Bathrooms clean. There is laundry available for very inexpensive amount (about $2 per load for both washer & dryer). Arne was our staff member taking care of us and he was great: extremely polite and professional, very well mannered and educated. We had great chats and he was very enlightening about Norway and Senja Island. We met other travelers who were also very nice and like-minded...

"Owner, Leikny, was tremendously helpful and welcoming. We scheduled a yoga session with her which was the perfect start to our weekend. She made herself available if we had any questions. It was quiet and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was open for use and the jacuzzi was also available to schedule. Short and easy hike up the mountain to a fire pit.

"Checkin was easy. Room i booked had a small kitchen area, i did not utilize anything in this area. Basic bedroom and bathroom. Window facing the water, which was beautiful. Huge aurora show the night i stayed. Staff very friendly. Limited restaurant options/times at times during the year- so make sure to check into that. Outdoor seating nice, there were blankets available. Would definitely stay again. Wish we had more than 1 night here."

"Beautiful guesthouse suitable for family with young children, love their tiny playhouse caters for children at leisure corner. Better experience if the place were to be given a minimal facelift, the kitchenette and wares were a little dated. Understood the importance of sustainability but breakfast selections were bare minimum. We were overall happy with our last minute booking, catch the most beautiful northern lights through our whole trip!"

"3bed house was a great choice. Wonderful waterfront views. Parking and charging was very easy and right by the property we had. No wifi but 5g worked fine. Remote, rural location. The restaurant at the property is good but nothing else for miles. We self catered in part. "

"Loved the property but after we left the host tried to scam us by saying we left the place without tidying up. He wanted 1000NOK/£70. I told him we videoed the entire place showing it was spotless before we left, and he quickly told us to not worry about the 1000NOK. The place was also advertised as a 3 bedroom house yet he failed to tell us that one of the bedrooms is his private bedroom and is not to be used! I would return to Finnsnes, but never to this place."
